I live in London in a three storey Victorian house, with my husband, Luke, a photographer, and my two children. We have an extremely fat rather beautiful cat.  

I spend most of the morning writing, but am easily distracted.  I have published three novels, and contributed to various blogs, magazines and newspapers. I write a weekly column in The Times, called Marriage, which I really love writing. I think my novels are compelling and accessible - sometimes funny, sometimes sad and poignant, occasionally quite dark. I hope you will enjoy reading them.
